MZP "Putanka" Non-Line-Of-Sight Wire Entanglement Barrier

High-efficiency perimeter defense. Virtually invisible, reliably blocks personnel and vehicles.

The MZP "Putanka" (Non-Line-of-Sight Barrier) is a volumetric wire entanglement obstacle designed to create hard-to-cross protective perimeters. Thanks to the use of thin steel wire with a diameter of 0.5–0.9 mm, the structure is practically invisible on the ground — which is what gave it its name. At the same time, the barrier effectively prevents unauthorized entry and is widely used to protect facilities and territories of various purposes.

The barrier is a system of interconnected garlands of wire rings that, once installed, form a volumetric obstacle. In its standard configuration, the MZP is assembled in the shape of a rectangular block (parallelepiped), but it can be stretched lengthwise if needed, with a corresponding change in height and width. The specific installation layout is chosen based on the terrain, vegetation, and configuration of the protected area.

The barrier is manufactured from thin steel wire without zinc coating. Corrosion protection is provided by a special preservative grease coating. Despite the small wire diameter, the structure is highly effective: a person caught in the barrier can practically not free themselves without assistance.

The MZP "Putanka" has been used for many years to protect state borders, military facilities, industrial enterprises, warehouses, restricted-access territories, and other sites where a reliable engineering barrier is required.
